About Me

Hi there.  I’m Deren Monday.  I have a passion for home improvement, and I would like to help you with your next remodel project.

Some examples of ways we could work together:

• Perhaps you are undertaking an entire house remodel, top to bottom, and need some help planning, budgeting, scheduling and selecting a project team (contractor, architect, engineer, etc.).
• Perhaps you have a small bathroom that needs to be updated and you just need help coming up with a design and some product selections.
• Perhaps your backyard is in serious need of a new pool and landscaping and you have no idea where to start.

No matter the size or scope of your project, I can help.

Why, you might ask?

Because I believe your home is much more than an asset.  I believe it’s a place of security, a safe haven in a challenging world, and the hub of any vibrant and loving family.  In short, I believe “home improvement” goes far beyond cosmetic betterment.  I think it enriches the family and those in it, whether there are two family members or ten.

I also enjoy the details of planing, budgeting, scheduling and managing projects.  I do it for a living, I do it for my own home, and I would like to do the same for you.

Oh, and I’m pretty good at it, if I do say so myself.

My Background

I had the good fortune of learning residential construction from my grandfather.  He was a decorated WWII veteran and a custom home-builder/designer who learned his “drawing board skills” illustrating Tom & Jerry cartoons for two guys named Hanna and Barbera.

I parlayed his early influence into a college degree in Construction Management from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo on California’s beautiful Central Coast.  Upon graduation, I went to work for a large commercial contractor in roles such as a construction project manager, design-build director and head of the insurance restoration division.  In July of 2010 I left this company and formed my own company serving the Central Valley of California: Trinity Renovation, Inc.

How I Can Help You

With this level of experience, I’ve learned to visualize renovations, establish project budgets and schedules and hire contractors and designers better than most people.  And how does that help you?  Because I’ll adopt your project as my own and advise you on each and every aspect, generally saving you buckets of time and money and headache.  And best of all, I will be your number one advocate throughout the entire project, looking out for you at every turn, and helping you through the inevitable hiccups homeowners experience during remodels of any size.
